Another Chinese product recall! On the other hand, I put this in the wrong category and I WISH they would let us edit that ... :-(

No doubt the play yards also have a nice layer of lead paint on them.

One million Simplicity and Graco cribs, made in China, are being recalled -- the biggest such recall ever -- after three babies died. Seven babies were trapped and there were 55 other incidents, all related to a design flaw and hardware failure involving separation of the cribs' drop rail from the frame. The cribs pose a risk of drop rail separation that can lead to infants being trapped and suffocated.

Two years elapsed between the first death in one of these cribs and Friday's recall.

How many of these cribs have been resold and are now in other homes? These parents may not even be aware that they have a death trap

I guess this would prompt companies not to outsource production to China anymore. The products they've been producing are really way below acceptable quality levels.

This is getting more serious everyday. I could understand if parents right now are getting paranoid with each and every toy that their child has. There should be stricter measures on quality control of products made overseas.
