Yes, the "Goat"! Been a while since I have heard that name for the GTO!

That was great, Rinty! I have some great memories of my '66 chevelle, 327 Chevy engine, 295 hp, 4-speed in floor, bucket seats, console and Green Valley Raceway, quarter mile ET run, Thanks!

Good stuff . Seems all the good stories are told . I at 17 personally had a nice fire engine red with vinyl top '67 Lemans with a six pack and competition autoshift . Ran Good , I wound up giving it to my brother . He at 17 had a blue '67 Lemans with a Holly 4 barrel, lift kit, Hurst speed shift , Posi rear , blah , blah blah . He was my kid brother , so of course he got the better stuff . Learned from my mistakes .

Had a friend with a '68 GTO. Had the "three deuces and a four speed" , aftermarket 3 deuces of course, don't think you could get that from GM. Awesome car and a great deal of envy from me!!!!!!

You are welcome, riverdalian! Yes, they were great cars! I could look in the rear view mirror and could tell you the make and model of the car behind me!
