I live in Vegas but somehow can't seem to bring myself to pay more than $100 for a ticket. Maybe I'll make an exception, but, damn ... $100 for "cheap" seats!

GM, The first Cirque I saw was Dralion. My son was ten then and loved it. We both love Cirque and saw Saltimbaco two years later when it came to the Twin Cities.
Dralion is fun because the clowns are entertaining the crowd before the show starts.
If you ever get the chance to see them live, you will not regret it. Best advice I can give is is left off center, center or right off center.

That's how Wintuk was, CM. The clowns were out playing with the audience 1/2 hr. before the show started.

Uncle Dave Wintuk is one I haven't seen yet. Maybe it's out on DVD. Thanks.

The Beatles were such an important part of my life as far as music goes. I sort of grew up with them.....I imagine a lot of us on here did. When they broke up, it was the end of an era of "happy tunes" and love songs.
They were a class act and went out in style.

I lived in France from 1962-67 and was exposed to the music from across the Channel. Have been a Beatles fan since then. Loved most of the music from Great Britian...from the Beatles to the Rolling Stones, the Kinks and the Jersey Beat. I was a teenager at the time and that was one of the best experiences of my life. And it's even more poignant that Cirque du Soleil is performing to the music of the Beatles.

I was in and out of the UK a lot during that time, Charlson, and share the same delight at the music from that period as you. Something wonderful happened in England in the early 1960s, musically, perhaps spearheaded by the Beatles, and the results conquered the world --until the music out of California began to hit the airwaves.
(I have a slight suspicion you mean "Mersey" Beat after the River Mersey which flows through Liverpool, rather than "Jersey," one of the Channel Islands lying between England and France.)
