Music – Another classic road warrior song by one of the pioneers of Heavy metal. This was caught on tape before the release of MachineHead.
rdy:
I remember cranking this up and throwing down some shots of Wild Turkey and just rockin' to to the sounds. Eased my mind and let me just focus on the music.
Thanks for the memories.
Great video, rdy, of a fine fine band at their peak. They made wonderful driving rock music with Lord and Blackmore, in particular, true masters of rock keyboard and rock guitar.
(The film has Japanese subtitles, for some reason; I think the version you found must've been off Japanese TV).
Props locking up real bad.But DP was a huge success in Japan well before they were in the States hence the song "Women from Tokyo."
But for me Highway Star was the beginning of my head banging stage:)
CM, thanks -=- a whole bunch of spammers joined in early April, they especially hit the music sites -- but always with an ulterior motive.
Hey blinkers how's it goin'? You are quite welcome. It gets annoying.
The ones that are the worst are the ones that submmit stories, that may be spam (who wants to take a chance of their computer crashing?) or not, on the wrong threads. Spent about two hours last Saturday on the Art and Design channel sinking stories there about dogs, how to get rid of spam, your computer has spam now what, what to do about spam, got spam (this one is my own take on humor)?, and news stories.
Thanks rdy2rck. Great tunes. I cranked up the volume on my cool speakers here. (hope my neighbors didn't mind...it's Friday ya know!!)
have a fantastic weekend!

I'm saving my pennies for better comp. speakers. Seems like I'm listening to more tunes on prop. than my stereo.
