It's always hard to imagine Alice doing ballads with the make up but this song always struck a point with me. Men do Cry.

That is very nice Rdy2rck! That is not the Alice Cooper I remember, I like this one better.

I always thought he and Vincent Price were an odd team.

Thanks libs. I thought about that one but picked this one because like I said it's hard for some to see a ballad with that make up.

It's good to see a tribute to a guy ripped off by Marilyn Mason.

His radio show isn't bad either, interesting retro rock, if a station carries it in your area.

Music has no politics, well seldom. It is meant to be shared and enjoyed, and I love mellow Monday, wakeup Tuesday, Hump day Wednesday and on and on

rdy, Alice C's just been though here (Japan) with all his stage antics and classic hits wowing the locals. They didn't come to my town but they did play Osaka. A good friend went and described a superb time, with Alice's eye-catching daughter now part of the show.

avatar
Reply

Didn't know about the daughter. Maybe the Legacy continues? He still puts on one heck of a magic show. And boy you sure know your English for Japanese. Better than me.:)

It's very well known that men never cry! (LOL). I like the song...and the magnificent view of Vegas by night! Thanks!

People seem to forget that Bread owned AM radio in the '70s...that was a part of any self-respecting "get laid" tape...

avatar
Reply

That has to be one of the greatest songs of "longing" ever written.

avatar

I don't know about greatest but know Alice was writing about a very, very difficult time he'd just gone through and was expressing his emotions of those times.

The rockers make the best ballads. I love this song...Alice Cooper did a great job.

Great song selection r2r. I love Alice and try to listen to his radio show a couple times a week, at least. It's fun and Alice reveals little things about other rockers, he adds some humor and sometimes some sage advice he's garnered over the years. Good show.

Cooper is an avid golfer, the last time he did a concert here he came out to my area for a round of golf.

I cried.I really did.

I Love Alice Cooper.

He is the Master of the Macomb.

But, that song was as wimpy as Kisse's "Beth".

These guy's are suppose to be the Masters of Metal not Mush!

Let there be lights, there was lights, let there be sound, there was sound, let there be drums, there was drums, let there guitars, there was guitars.

Ohhhhh Let there be Rock!
