Music – If this doesn't get you over the hump, well your dead)Reminds me of a cross between Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis.Enjoy

Agreed, rdy. Nice choice. Stray Cats, then the Brian Setzer Orchestra were incredibly skilful rockers. Setzer still sports the 50s hairstyle!
Here's his rockabilly guitar lesson -- but way too fast to follow!
Good watch.Stray cats were my favorite of that genre/time period. They brought some 50s back and when I saw them not only good tunes, just fun.
I was kidding about the slow dance but that's pretty much how I danced(with amphetamines).LOL
Ok, what can be said about Brian Setzer? Not much, he has to be on rocket fuel for some of the stuff he can do. It took a long time to get away from using floor pedals and rig effects, when doing this stuff.
All I needed was an amp that was set on just about 11 with everything. The one thing that got me was the amount of reverb and tremolo was in his playing. Very little tremelo, but, heavily saturated with reverb.
This is my favorite song by the Stray Cats.
WOW He could pick that thing. I ain't seen fingers move that fast since I was 10 years old. Good pick rdy2rck I can't pick a guitar like that anymore.
He definately enjoyed his music. MacR sounds the better expert but it seems to me they sure brought out a full sound out of few instruments.
I thank you for that compliment R2R. But, I am just a player. While I can play some things that others can not, well ones who do not practice. I am far from an expert. I am just able to understand the mechanics of certain things. And music is one of them
About the full sound. Most bands that are 3 piece. You have to do things that fill up the space, while you are on stage. I guess this is why I love Rush so much. And the other 3 piece bands, like. ELP, Stray Cats, Led Zep(before ya'll start, Robert only played the harmonica and even then he only played it on a couple of songs).
Then there is the Texas' favorite, ZZ Top. As I was saying though, these 3 piece bands had to fill the sound on stage. And while you can do a lot in the studio. If you sound like crap on stage you do not get record sales on the next album. Look at all of the bands that are 3 piece and look who is still selling records/cd's and concerts.
