You'd be surprised . It's so prevalent in our society [ as humans ] .

Back when I had a moving company around 1987 or 1988 , I did this moving job for this lady . Her name was Ann[e] Baumbrind . She is the person who got the handicapped laws in place at the Federal level . You know , handicapped parking spots , the easy access doors , all that stuff . She was the one . Well in conversing with her [ i left out , she was in a wheel chair ],I found out that she had considered suicide as a way out . This was in Queens NY . The Boro President , Donald Mannis had just blown his head off and she idolized him . She thought it was a very noble way to go out . Well I did have a talk with her about that . And everytime I'd have to go out to Long Island , I could see her house , with that ramp for her wheel chair . And I always felt good , because it meant she was still alive .
