Unfortunately, doing time would just give them street cred.

You notice that these hate songs don't have white performers. 10,000 black youths were framed in L.A. County.

The money that California got as a part of the tabacco settlement, about 4 and a half billion is being used to pay off the lawsuits.

I have read interviews by black youths where I used to live, in Seattle, involving police abuse including shoving a gun into a 17 year old's mouth with the warning, "I can kill you anytime I want to".

As far as rap not being music, That's what they said about the Beatles... feeling old now?

Rap can't be music because to have music there has to be a melody. Rap has no melody only noise and racket.

Rap used to reflect what was happening in the streets. Now the streets are reflecting what happens in rap.

Life imitating "art"? Art being used quite loosely and generously to describe rap.

There was poor lil ole innocent me thinking that "Incitment to commit a crime" was a criminal offence....

Judging by some of those lyrics, is it any wonder that "life is now imititating rap" ??

Acceptable, considering "Don't taze me, bro" is now a catch phrase.

I guess people have been feeling that "preemptive strikes" are necessary when dealing with evildoers for a long time, now.

I don't listen to rap for two reasons. The first and biggest is what the words are. The second is it is not music. Just hard to understand talking done with a rhythm.

Listening rap is fun, but the message is not always fun. Be wise, you always have freedom to choose. Everything that is dividing or creating hatred is garbage; simply don't listen.
