Not a big fan of Lenny or this song, but who doesn't love Prince?

I used to just crank the Guess Who version 'cause right at the end in the fade out he just SPITS out "Goodbye American woman, goodbye American SH*T!" Which still makes the song for me, not because of the anti-American sentiment, but because it's one of the few times you can hear a Canadian really get p*ssed off!

Hi, gm.
Electrifying stuff.....never knew these two great showmen ever shared a stage (that's how much I know!).
It's a fine song, expertly rendered, but I found myself just waiting for Prince's guitar solo.

If I was ever go into rock and roll and attempt to play that type of music, I want that back up band. What a rhythm section.
No matter what the guitar players were up to, the rhythm stayed solid and musical. A big gold medal should go to the drummer and bass-player. Solid.
The key board player just peppered the whole performance with fluid passing phrases at the right time to glue the song together.
The horn section was 'hot butter'; kinda like the old Motown sections.
Lenny and Prince do what they do best; perform and entertain without pomp, ego, hidden messages and or axxinine behaviour.
I wonder if this group would ever do the old Cream classic 'Sunshine Of Your Love'; could be a winner.
